 How long does oven gas valve opens when the pilot already extends? Brand: Admiral Model Number: Oven and Broiler Age: Please select
I am trying to figure out what is wrong with my oven.
Our oven is a Admiral Oven Broiler.
The pilot IS lit but the oven burner took a long time lighting (sometimes 30 min sometimes never sometimes you smell gas).
The pilot is extending when the thermostat is tuned to ON. When the pilot is extending, the oven gas valve took a long time opening/flaming.
1. How long does oven gas valve opens when the pilot already extends? 
2. What are the probable causes of this too long to open oven gas valve?
3. Is it normal to smell gas when the pilot light already is extended (flame not yet on)? What is the cause of this? |
