Unhappy How do I release & lift the top off my Range
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: SF369LEMQ1
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hello,I have a range that sits too close to a wall and wish to relocate the stronger Power Burner to the oposite side of the range and relace it with the weakest burner. My question is after disassembling the burners,How do you release the cook top so that I could remove the burners.I do not see a release lever of any type. Do I have to loosen any of the front screws to remove it? Please advise. And yes the gas will be shut off prior to doing this task. Range purchased in 2004 Serial # RR1210886 Model # SF369LEMQ1

There might be two small screws at the corners, take them out, top shold lift right off.
