Question Hotpoint 8" electrical element wont heat up
Model Number: RB757E
Age: 1 - 4 years

Recently a pot of boiling water sprung a leak and put a hole in the heating element. The element didn't work so I purchased a new element and it doesnt heat up. Do you think there is a problem with the electrical connection? Is there a fuse of any kind. The other elements all work.
Thanks for any advice
