Question Help! Replacing Trim and Bracket Assembly
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: Profile- JBP79BY4
Age: 5 - 10 years

I'm in the process of replacing the trim/bracket assembly and am having trouble getting some of the pieces off the old one, especially the switches for the oven and nightlights and the red buttons that inform that the burners are hot. I've gotten everything else moved over. Is there a trick to this that I am missing? Thanks in advance!

Default

There are locking tabs on the switch that hold them in place.

The little light lens have the same type of tabs.

If you work from the back side of the panel.

Here is a link to your range model JBP79BY4.
