Default Help Removing Bracket for Burner
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: CFEF388JEB1
Age: More than 10 years

I need to replace the burner on my Frigidaire smooth cooktop range. Lifted the cooktop. There is a metal support holding burner elements. There are no screws to remove the metal support.

Only screws I found were the spring loaded screws (made of screw, spacer & spring) from the support holding the burner element. I removed screw but the spacer & spring remains.

How do you remove the burner element??

Help....
