I have a jenn ari c228 convertable cooktop. One of the controll knobs (switches) is either totally off or on high. What is the variable controll switch that I need and is it easily replaceable?

Yes it is the switch that you will need.

Make sure that you turn the power to the cook top of before you try to change the switch.

Remove the the control panel.

Remove the knob and the screws that hold the switch to the control panel.

Transfer the wires one by one so you don't get confused.
