Brand: General Electric
Model Number: jcp67-01
Age: More than 10 years

I have a very old ge stove that i dont want to replace... out of the 4 cooktop elements only 2 works and only when set on high... Any ideas on where to get parts to fix recptical asembly , or will that even work. Model number on left oven door states that the model # is JCT67-01WH. Let me know what you come up with to help me with this problem.

Here is a link to your range model JCp6701.

For the two burners that don't work try taking the element out of the receptacle and bending the end outward then plug them back in and see if they work.

If they still do not work turn the power off to the range and check the blocks that the element plugs into.

If you find that you need new receptacles they are number 160 on the breakdown.

For the two that will only work on the high setting you will need new switches.

The switches are number 3 on the breakdown.
