Brand: Hotpoint
Model Number: RB755GOT1WH
Age: More than 10 years

Have a stove that after a lightening surge, the oven does not get hot.Checked the two lower post wires to the oven and both are hot (have power)even with the oven switch off;both top posts (on back of oven) are hot (power)all the time even when the oven switch is off. When the switch is in the on position the oven will still not get hot even though the leads in the back have power. Is it both oven grids?the clock console unit?I don't know-need help

The lighting strike likely took the clock control out.

If you get power to the clock but nothing coming out your clock is faulty.

Here is a link to your stove model RB755GOT1WH.
