 Grill spark igniter schematic Brand: Jenn-Air Model Number: SEG 196 Age: More than 10 years
I have a Jenn-Air dual fuel gas burner/electric oven range. Left side of top has grill and grill is started by a "spark igniter" (I find this part number in various parts sellers websites as xx121213). My igniter does not work and is badly corroded so I want to replace it. The part has a metal spark igniter connected to a wire assembly (like a pigtail). Before I buy one of these, I need to know how to install it: the igniter screws out, but I don't know the correct way to find the place where the electric wire goes, but it must be under the pan which is under the grill plates. Jenn-Air has no schematics to help me and I find nothing on searches. Hope someone on this board can assist. Thanks. |
