Default GE ,SLIDE IN ELACTRIC STOVE, ERROR CODE Loc rEF
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JCS968BKBB
Age: Less than 1 year

My GE slide in stove, when plug in,just staying illuminated for certain time no sign and then showing Error code "Loc rEF" and touch pad is not responding to clear error code or OFF/cancel.I replaced touch with new one but again same error code.
Now I am suspecting electronic control board or motherboard is not responding. But before ordering new control I would ask all members, may be some body suggest me something helpful. All burners are working, but no convection or oven operation.

Try this it may be that the child lock is on.

Press the bake and broil hi/lo pads at the same time for 2 seconds until the display shows SF.

Press the self clean pad.The display will show Loc off.

Here is a link to the break down of your range model JCS968BK1BB.
