Default GE profile wall oven
Brand: General Electric
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a GE wall oven it will not reach full cooking temp. I also get F2 code faults. I think it is the temp sensor. The question is do I need to pull oven out to change this part it looks like it plugs into the back of the oven.

You do not have to pull the oven out to replace the sensor unless the harness for the sensor is the problem.

Remove the sensor and check the resistance.

You should get a reading of 1100 ohms at room temperature. The resistance will go up as the temperature goes up.

Can you please supply your model number?
