The radiant cooktop on my range works but no oven functions work because the display / touchpad is dead.

Each radiant element has its own rotary control knob and they all function fine.

Range has 4 seperate boards for: clock, main display, touchpad, and main control board. I'm guessing that if only the display boards were dead the touchpad would still beep when pressed, so my problem must be in the main board. Which would be item #17 on the diagram.


I haven't ordered any parts yet because, if I'm wrong, this could become a very expensive "parts changing game" very quickly.

Any help or experience would be greatly appreciated.

You will have to get a meter and use the wiring diagram to determine where you are losing your power.

Check the wiring and ribbon cables.

The technician sheet should be in an envelope stuck to the range or in the control panel.
