While running the self-clean program, the upper heat element works but the lower heat element does not. After about 20 minutes the oven begins to beep, displays an "F2" error code, and shuts off.

dtodd, unfortunantly F2 could be either the sensor or the board. What I would d is replace the oven sensor first.
