Default GE oven not working after clean cycle
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JBP26
Age: More than 10 years

I ran the self clean cycle on my oven today and it ran fine. Came to the end and unlocked properly and everything. But now when I try to turn the oven on the self clean light comes on and flashes. It will let me set the cleaning cycle again and it starts heating up, but it won't cook. I let it cool down completely and tried turning the power off for a little while, but it still won't work.

I managed to get the oven to work last night. I noticed that it didn't ask me to lock the door to start the clean cycle again, so I got the idea that it wasn't registering that the door had ever been unlocked. After moving the lock back and forth several times with no results, I moved the door lock back to the locked position and then slammed it hard back to unlock and that did the trick. I don't think I'll be running the clean cycle again anytime soon.
