Default GE OVEN Electronic Control Panel
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JTP15ww
Age: 5 - 10 years

The electronic control panel (GE Part WB27K5273 - now GE PART WB27T10265 stopped allowing adjustment of oven temperature to anything other than a maximum of 350 degrees and allowed no time changes. I just replaced the unit and carefully connected the new unit one lead at a time and all I get is a flashing time of 12:00 oclock. None of the selections on the panel work. I put the old unit back in and it reverts to the time showing when I removed it, but again, none of the selections on the key panel work. Any suggestions?

Do you have your owner's manual?

It may be that if the clock is not set the oven it will not function.

Paul, did you get this working?

I am having problems with the "Bake" and "Broil" buttons not working (but if I press them for a few seconds the F function comes up, so I think is not the buttons themselves, rather the circuitry itself). I guess I need to replace the board but I am afraid (as I read somewhere) that the connections are not identical to what the originals where? I it worked for you, did you figure out the wiring with the replacement part?

Anyone else?

Thank you in advance.

Ricky
