Oven stopped working have checked Breaker, still have stovetop heating available. When I turn the dial the lights come on up top but I don't get the heating elements to come on and heat up. Any ideas on what might be the problem and what part will fix it. Have heard that it could be the thermostat. Have ohmmeter ( cheap one) not sure what to put the black and red leads to and what to set ohmemter on.

Your oven does not have a traditional thermostat it has an electronic control and sensor.

Does the broil function work?

Check to see if there is a burnt off at the control or the element.

The broiler doesn't work either. I'm figuring its the (Electronic Control) with clock built in for $117.65 locally in Richmond Va.

If there are no wires burnt off and you have 240 volts to the control then it is your control.
