Default Ge Oven Control Board
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 911.45569893
Age: 5 - 10 years

I bought a replacement control board for my oven, problem is they no longer make the orginal dirrect replacement board, so now I have this retro fit board
(part # WB27T10174) and there is no where i can see to connect the green ground wire? Dirrections say to transfer leads to same as original.

When our GE drop-in range control panel wore out I called Sears Parts (yes, I know better now...) and ordered a new panel. They sent the new Sanyo/Torisan ERC3B (WB27T10174) as a replacement for the old Robertshaw unit (WB27K5306). The instructions for installing the unit covered the installation of the included of a new wiring connector for the oven sensor and the door lock motor only. There was no other information for the oven wiring. There is no indication of how to make the oven bake/broil connections. There doesn't seem to be a connection for ground either. Calls to Sears and GE didn't help. Can somebody tell me how to make the connections on this controller?

Thank you!!!

You will need the service sheet which includes schematic. Look behind lower drawer for this.

I have the wiring diagram that came with the stove, it's the new (control board) thats the problem. (WB27T10174) there is no terminal on the new board for a ground conection to the oven? The old original control board had a male terminal claerly marked (G) for ground. This new board has none? And the instructions are a JOKE!

I'm having a similar problem with my gas oven. The instructions for the Torisan ERC3B (WB27T10324) controller I'm using to replace my old Robertshaw ERC2C gas controller do not say where the old leads named "L," "FAN," or "COM" go on the new Torisan controller. Can anyone offer any advice??

Default Schematic?

Any suggestions where to find the ERC3B schematic? None on or in my GE range.

My range clock/control just died last week. Range top sparker still works, but no controller. I'm assuming that the ERC3B is the problem - any suggestions? (I tried the buttons for the "blackout" option - no joy)

Model GE JGBP35GXH1WW with 230v --> 115v transformer...

I guess you are saying the new control has no place for a ground wire. If so, your new board obviosly needs no ground.
