Wink GE JTP27 Error F2 Code
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: jtp27

My top oven overheats and ends up giving the F2 to me. From what I have seen this seems to be related to the control panel?
Any help would be appreciated.

This is from your owner's manual:

If “F—and a number or letter” flash in the display
and the oven control signals, this indicates a
function error code.
Press the CLEAR/OFF pad. Allow the
oven to cool for one hour. Put the oven back into operation. If
the function error code repeats, disconnect the power to the

oven and call for service.

Unfortunately it doesn't mention your error code, F2. But it sounds like temperature-sensing device in the oven could be malfunctioning.

Could you please provide your complete model number? (There should be a suffix after JTP27 indicating your exact model.)

Thanks!

Thanks,

Thats another problem, on the lower oven the model says JTP27W (O or A)W2WW, of which I can find no match? This wall oven was put in about 9 or 10 years ago when we had the house built.
