The glass cooktop on my GE cooktop is cracked and I was considering ordering the replacement and putting it on myself. Does anyone have instructions? I'd like to have an idea of the complexity before placing the order.

Disconnect the power.

Open the oven door and remove the two screws that secure the top.

Lift the cook top and support.

Unplug the wiring harness connectors at the back by squeezing the side tabs.

Remove the screw securing the ground wire.

Lift the back end of the cook top about 2 inches to unhook the hinge pins from the brackets.
