Default GE Gas Oven slow to ignite
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JGBP26GEJ8AD
Age: 5 - 10 years
Oven take a long time to ignite. When it does it does so with a slight blast.
Everything else work fine...burners and broiler.

Sounds like a week ignitor.

Replace the bake ignitor, the ignitor is getting weak, and the cavity is filling up with gas, then igniting. Not good. If you need me to walk you through the repair, you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
