Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JDP36G0P1AD
Age: More than 10 years
I have a GE electric oven that does not heat properly.

When you set the digital control to any temperature it acts like it reaches the desired temperature almost immediately, it beeps and shows that it has reached the temperature that it is set to.

I know both the bake and broil elements are working because they did so in a self cleaning cycle and the oven gets extremely hot.

Could this be the heat sensor?
