Hi - I cracked the glass cook top on my GE range and want to know how hard it is going to be to replace it.

Can anyone help me?

You will have to remove the cook top from the counter and disassemble.

It is not that hard to do just time consuming.

Here is a link to your cook top model jp980.

To order part you will need the complete model number found on a tag with the serial number.

It will have five more character that identify color and different features.
