I have an oven. the problem is the oven doesn't turn on. the burners and the broil work fine.

The bake element dosn't work? Pull bake element out and check wires, may be burnt off. Check resistance, should be less than 30 ohms.

it is a Gas oven, the ignitor comes on but the Gas does not turn on.

Probably a bad igniter. The round ones draw about 3 amps, the square ones 1.7 amps. Gas valve won't come on till current exceeds these levels, soo.. just get a new igniter.
