Default Gas range does not get up to temp
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JGSP30GER
Age: More than 10 years

oven never gets over 200 F. If set at 500 burners light and cycle on and off but temp is never reached although the digital read out climbs and says 500 temp is only 200.
Broiler set on high also cycles on and off but never gets over 200. I was told my temp sensor was good and it was probably the control pad at a replacement cost of $650. Any other suggestions?

Can you please supply the last three digit of your model number?

There should be a tag on the frame of the range where the drawer closes.

With this I can provide a parts breakdown of your range.
