Brand: Magic Chef
Model Number: ?
Age: More than 10 years
I have a 20 year old gas magic chef range. the oven pilot is on and nothing happen when i turn the oven on. I have observed by removing the cover on top of the burner that when i turn the oven on the pilot light is reduced and returns to normal when the oven swith is off. Kindly advice . Heribert P.

It sounds like your valve is not opening.

This should be checked by a qualified gas technician due to safety concerns.

can you please provide your model number?
