I have a GE Profile gas downdraft cooktop with a glass top. My wife dropped something on the corner and cracked it. Should it be replaced? Is it covered under a warranty? What is involved in the replacement if necessary?

The glass top would not be covered under the warranty.

If it is only in the corner it will not effect the operation and does not have to be replaced.
