Default Gas Built in stove
Brand: Tappan
Model Number: not sure
Age: More than 10 years

I have a 24" Built in Gas Oven with Two equal size oven cavities ( oven and Broiler)
I was thinking of replacing it with a new one, but can't find any of this type around anymore. I purchased it in 1980..pretty old cut works good. I do need to locate the gasket or sealing strip that goes around the inside .Does anyone know where I can find them.
Thank You for any help
Bev
I found the serial number for my oven.
It is 12-1467-30/04042 - 10075106

To get the gasket for your oven you will need the model number.

It should be on a tag with the serial number where the door closes.

If you still have the manual it may be on it .

The model number will look like this 00-0000-00-00.

I know this has nothing to do with appliances, but just wanted to let people know that I didn't intentionally do my user name as golf4gun. I meant to put golf4fun, but pushed the wrong key and unfortunately can't find a way to change it.
Sorry...
Bev
