Default Frigidaire stove - recalibrate thermastat
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: fef336bch
Age: 1 - 4 years

The oven temps. are running 35 -40 degrees less than the programmed temps.

Can I recalibrate the thermastat using the controls on the front of the stove? If so, what do I do?

Thanks,

Paul

How did you determine that the range is 35 to 40 degrees lower then what it should be?

If you are using a thermostat that you get in a hardware store or grocery it is likely of not your stove.

You can test the oven sensor and see if the resistance is approximately 1080 ohms at room temperature (70 degrees).

Here is a link to your range model fef336bch.
