The oven igniter turns orange but the oven does not heat, however the broiler does work. I was told it was likely to be the igniter by a technician over the phone. Is this a part that I could repair myself? I looked up the part and it will save over $200 if I do it myself from the estimate I was given.

It depends on your ability to take something apart and put it back together.

Just remember this is a gas range and should be serviced by a qualified gas technician.
