Default Flame is low
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JGBP34GEV5AD
Age: More than 10 years

Initially it set the fire one out of 5 times. However, the flame size was normal once it set the fire. I try to clean the little thin gas pipe by diassembling it and washed pipe with water. When I put it back, it does not set the fire at all.
I used match to set the fire. Now the flame is really low with HI setting.

Which part do I have to change for this?
Thanks.

Lim, first question is when you turn it on broil does it work? If so replace the bake ignitor coil. The reason I say that is, that would let me know if you have a gas valve problem. If the broil cycle works, usually that means the valve is good. Even though that product has a duel gas valve. Replace the bake ignitor coil. You should be fine. Make sure, when you get the new one, you don't touch the part of the ignitor that glows. Don't bang it around either. They break real easy. If you need me you can reach me at my web site. Thanks for the reply.
I am talking about top burner. One of them (4) is not working.
Does the broil still relate to this problem?
