hi, i had a power surge. now my display shows FFF. cant find anything about amana having an fff code. do i need to replace the control board?--the whole clock unit??. since that seems to be the issue on other models that show that kind of code.

Yes the FFF code is the failure of the control.

Try unplugging for ten minutes and then plugging back in.

If the FFF code come back you will have to replace the control.
