Default F5 Code
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: J DP39WOW2WW
Age: 5 - 10 years

Two Days Ago We Noticed The Clock Blinking, As If The Power Went Off. We Reset The Clock, Then Yesterday I Tried Using The Oven But After A Few Seconds The F5 Code Appeared. We Turned The Power Off Thinking It Would Reset But Still The F5 Code. Can You Please Tell Me What F5 Code Means, And What I Can Do To Correct The Problem.

Thanks,
Donna Carlson

Default

The F5 in the clock display means that the drive relay circuit has failed and the clock/oven control will have to be replaced.

Here is a link to your range model J DP39WOW2WW.

Here is a the clock.
