Default F3 Error Code
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: 2734028891
Age: More than 10 years

We have a tried and truce older Kenmore built in wall oven that now is giving an F3 error code. It is so old that I can't even find this model number in any of the parts listings.

Age old question is it worth fixing? My guess is that this is a termostat or temperature sensor issue.

I am a moderately able do-it-yourselfer. Can I fix this myself, call the repair guy, or go ahead and buy a new wall oven??

Any thoughts, suggestions, advice appreciated.

Default

The F3 code is the oven sensor.

The oven sensor should read 1100 ohms at room temperature.

You should be able to do this job yourself.

Here is a link to the parts of your oven model 2784028891.
