Unhappy F10 Code
Brand: Frigidaire
Model Number: FGFL67DCF
Age: 1 - 4 years

Hi, I've wrote before but didn't have a Model Number. When I turn on my Gas Oven it will heat up and after about 2 minutes it starts to beep and give me a F10 Code. Please someone help and let me know what that could be??

Thanks for your help

The F10 code means that the control has sensed a potential runaway oven condition.

The control may have a shorted relay or the oven sensor may have gone bad.

Check the oven sensor. At room temperature you should get a reading of 1100 ohms.

If the sensor is good and the code comes back the oven control will have to be replaced.

Here is a link to your range model FGFL67DCF.

You will need an ohm meter.

Disconnect the power to the oven and disconnect the sensor from the clock.

Set the meter to the ohm scale and insert the probes in the end of the sensor harness.
