Default F1 displayed on Electric stove
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: JER8750AAW
Age: More than 10 years

After a Cleaning cycle on the oven, the door lock refused to open and an F1 code appeared on the display. Looking up this error code, I found that this normally indicates a bad touchpanel/circuit board. I purchased a new panel and repl;aced the old panel with this new one.

Low and behold the F1 code reappeared with the new panel installed. What other problem could cause the F1 fault to appear?

Try replacing the oven sensor. Make sure you got all the wires in the right places; might want to check wiring with schematic.

My neighbor had a similar experience as the above; and it was finaly fixed by replacing the oven sensor
