Default F1 on display
Brand: Tappan
Model Number: TGF657BFW1
Age: 5 - 10 years

While using top burners and oven, water boiled over on back left burner. We unplugged the electric and cleaned the water off the 2 left burners and under the burners. When we plugged in the electric, F1 display stated beeping after about 30 seconds. We pressed cancel and after about 30 seconds it continued beeping and displaying F1. Now the oven functions do not work. Only the top burners work.
Any suggestions?

The water must have gotten in to the control and taken it out.

The F1 means failed control.

Here is a link to your range model tgf657bfw1.
