Can you please verify your model number.

Is located in the door area on a tag with the serial number.

Check the voltage coming in to the ovens.

The model number is WW27430B.

I have no way to check the voltage coming to the units. If the bottom oven heats up normally, which it dose, would it be correct to assume that voltage is getting to the control panel?

We also get an F 1 error message at different times. More often the the F r message.

Last night we tried to use the bottom oven and it would not come on, kept getting an F 1 message. Then my wife turned on the oven light and the oven came on properly.

The F 1 is either a shorted key pad or a shorted clock.

The only way to tell for sure is to have a technician check it.

Here is a link to your oven model WW27430B.

If you have a keypad ribbon cable, try unplugging cable ,turn power on. If no msg. now, you have a shorted keypad.
