Brand: Whirlpool
Age: 5 - 10 years
Received this code last night. Oven shut down. COuldn't restar for about 15 minutes. Any ideas.

The range will be 5 years in October.

Can you please supply your model number?

The E2/F3 code is letting you know that the temperature in the oven when to high in the cook mode.

Check the oven sensor it should read 1100 ohms at a room temperature of 75 degrees.

You will likely have to replace the oven sensor.
