Default ERC Changeout Question
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JGRP17WEV1WW
Age: More than 10 years

I'm replacing the old Robertshaw ERC2C gas controller with a new Torisan ERC3B (WB27T10324) controller and do not know where the old leads named "L," "FAN," and "COM" go on the new Torisan controller. The instructions say "[t]he terminals are in the same approximate positions and are named the same" but this is not the case. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The supplier shipped you a replacement control, that is a substitute for your old control Send it back and explain your problem. Must get the factory control.

Thank you for your reply PS Volunteer. My gas oven is a 1993 model and according to the PartSelect catalog the original controller is no longer made so that is why they sent the replacement controller.
