Default Element Retrofit??
Brand: Kenmore
Model Number: No clue
Age: 5 - 10 years

The house we bought last year came with this 2000 yr old Kenmore electric stove. I have no idea of its model or model number. Although the oven works just fine, it now has only two burners that work and I'm afraid they might not make it much longer. So, is it possible to retrofit this stove with new, more conventional 4-5 coil elements? What's involved in this process.... lots of $$$'s and time? Is this a job left to the professionals? Or, is this a piece of ancient technology destined for the junk yard?

Any thoughts??

To answer your question I will need your model number.

The model number can be found on the frame of the stove where the drawer closes.

Thank you.

Where this is a Canadian model it will have fuses.

The fuses will be found under the top of the control panel.

There are two twenty amp fuses for the left side and two for the right side.

Your elements are still available.

The part numbers are PS336631 and PS336632.
