The temperature in our oven is off by about 50 degrees, I am guessing. I have to replace the computer board[part no.PS337086. How difficult is this to do ourselves?? Our repairman said we might as well get a new oven. I do not want to put this oven/stove in a landfill , if it still has some life in it.

For a 50 degree differential, I would doubt it be the control board. Repace the oven sensor, or hold the bake button, on the control board for 5 to 7 seconds, and the number ) should appear. This is the way to adjust the temp. Hit the up arrow if you want hotter. I would add about 20 degrees, if to hot, hit the down arrow, and put at -20, and then hit start. Give this a try, because I am sure you are using those little oven thermometers, that you buy in the grocery store. They are not too accurate. I don't think we are ready for a new oven, unless you have the fever. LOL If you need me you can reach me at my web site at ApplianceEducator.com Tom
