Yesterday the right front electric starter on my gas burner just started clicking. I hadn't touched the stove. I turned off the electricity to the stove & turned it back on but the starter was still going. I turned the knobs on & off but it still kept clicking. When I turn the electricity back on now it does not click but I'm afraid to leave the electricity on when I leave the house. I just moved to this house in January so I don't know how old the stove is. I've had this type of burner in the past but never this problem. Is it a fluke or is there a repair that I need?

You should have it looked at by a qualified gas technician due to safety concerns.

Unplug the stove when you are not using it.
