Dear Sheila,

Finally, after spending hours on line I finally found this great site. I knew there were people with answers somewhere. I have also read forums with my similar problem, "a broken cooktop". I have a Magic Chef electric range that has a crack in the top, how tough is it to replace?

Parts Select has this as part #4 and it appears its the entire top not just glass. The price is over 250, so judgment call whether to repair or replace. PL
