When trying to operate the oven we get a "F-5 code on the panel.

The F-5 means that your clock has failed and will have to be replace or repaired.

Here is a link to your range model 3968vvv.

It show that your clock is no longer available but you can send it away to have it repaired.

Here is a place that repairs range controls Appliance Timer Repair - Electronic & mechanical timers for ranges, washers, dryers & dishwashers.
