Lightbulb Electric oven push pad doesn't work
Brand: Maytag
Model Number: mer5570aaa

I have an electric Maytag oven with the push pad that operates the oven, clock, timer, etc. We had a power outage and all that illuminates when a button is pushed is "off". Any suggestions? We've visited Maytag, Lowe's, an appliance parts store and everyone refers us to a repair man. One salesman did suggest a child/lock code. Any ideas?

If you have your owner's manual, check for your child/safety code. But it does sound like the clock may have been damaged by the power outage/surge. One other thing to check is your fuses in the range if your model has them. Just make sure you disconnect the power first!
