Cool Electric Oven Initial power rating
Brand: General Electric
Model Number: JB960WY3ww
Age: 1 - 4 years

I need to power this unit and I'm a little confused by the KW rating, There are 2 set of numbers after the model number. 12.1 KW and 9.1KW @240 volts the first number equates to 50.4166 amps and the other is only 37.9166 which one is correct. The cord on the oven doesn't seem heavy enough to be #6 wire.

The 9.1 kw refers to the normal 230 volts, however, your line voltage may be higher than that. If it is too high above 240 volts you will have blowout problems with your electrical devices.
