Default Electric oven
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: SVE47100
Age: 5 - 10 years

There is an arc burn where the black ground wire connects to the frame from the board. Oven takes several hours to preheat...with a beeping sound every 5 min.
Also the broiler won't heat. When I turn it on the fan comes on immediately and it beeps as if it is heated. Could you tell me what the problem is?

It sound like you may have had a power surge or lighting strike.

If the control is not working it will have to be replaced.

The last one or two letters of your model number are needed to look up the part for your range.

Default part number

Shiela,

Thank you for your reply. Yes, it was after an electrical storm. Are you saying that we should replace the control panel? The model number is SVE47100. Is that all we would need to look it up?
