Default Electric ignition broiler won't fire
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: SF362LXSQ
Age: 1 - 4 years

I have a Whirpool gas stove/oven with electronic ignition. Everything else works on it except the broiler won't fire up. When I push on the control it makes a click and nothing happens.
We had a power outage and had to run on a generator for a couple of days. The trouble happened then.

I don't know if the ignitor is bad or if there is a problem with the circut board.

What should be the voltage to the ignitor when it fires? Or how do you check it?

Thanks.

You should have your range checked by a qualified gas technician due to safety concerns.
