Default E1-F5 error
Brand: Whirlpool
Model Number: RMC305PDB4
Age: 5 - 10 years

When I push the self clean button followed by the start button, I hear a sound of click for 5-6 times as if the system tries to lock the door. It then display the error code 'E1-F5'.

Can anyone tell me what that mean? Thanks

There is a problem with the locking mechanism

You will have to check the wires and switches to the control.

If the wires and switch check to be OK the clock control will need to be replace.

Here is a link to your range model RMC305PDB4.
