Default Downdraft fan shuts off when cooktop gets hot
Brand: Jenn-Air
Model Number: 88891
Age: More than 10 years
The downdraft fan shuts off when the cooking area becomes hot. After it cools down it begins running again, until it again becomes hot. Should I assume that the motor is aging, and needs replacement? Could anything else be causing it? Is this a task for a DIY'er, or is a pro recommended?
